Alright, another food blog coming at you, my 4 readers. While Copenhagen was amazing, the food I consumed might have been better. Unlike Italy, I don't really know what type of food Denmark is known for...except leverpostej on rye bread. For those of you who don't speak Danish (hey, me too) this is roughly translated into "liver paste". Don't worry--I'll eventually try/ blog about it. Nickie, on the other hand, was told that she HAD to try a Danish style hot dog. We bought one from a "pølsevogn" which literally means "sausage wagon". Over the two days, we snacked our way through the city. I think we consumed an actual meal just twice...one when I got there and one on the pier. Across the pier from Nickie and I, we noticed a popping joint filled with all sorts of people. However, we had trains to catch, so we passed it by. I just found out that it's actually a GIANT street-food palace. Needless to say, I will be making another trip.
